The Earth is dead. Ravaged by decades of calamity. Humanity has long since abandoned its burning home-world in search of suitable planets to terraform. Survival may be a struggle when travelling across the stars but it's the only chance left to live. Scavenge, barter or maim. Whatever happens is out of necessity and dire for the will to survive.
