Code of Conduct

  • One of the most simple rules of all is to respect yourself and others in general.
  • Grammar is a must. Spelling, not so much because we're only human. You have to know how to use caps, at least in character/in RP.
  • Both chat and roleplay is allowed in room. If writing is going on, do respect it.
  • Leave all personal drama out of the room. Whether you are mortal enemies OOC is irrelevant; in the room, you will respect everyone around you. You will not under any circumstances incite trouble.
  • Everyone that enters the room must be open to PM conversation with one another. This reduces the amount of OOC discussion whenever plot goes on in the main room.

Roleplay Guidelines

  • Everyone that enters the room must be open to PM conversation with one another. This reduces the amount of OOC discussion whenever plot goes on in the main room. without the user's consent.
  • No powerplaying or excessively overpowered characters. This is both for the benefit of the group and the potential OP themselves; having such power removes tension from any plots or conflicts, as all issues can be solved without consequence.
  • Avoid railroading. Railroading is forming contrivances and coincidences that keep a plot going in a certain direction. This will make others less willing to interact with you as their choices won't matter.
  • Stay in character. This should not be a guideline, but I've seen it happen plenty of times. Behave as your character would; as is said in storytelling, 'characters make a story, not the plot'. Also be aware that every action has a consequence, be it good or bad.
  • Above all remember that roleplaying is just that - roleplaying. Do not take anything to heart, and everyone will get along fine.
  • Have fun. Seriously, people seem to forget that sometimes.

Devil Save The Queen

During a typical visit to the office by Hilda, an abrupt demonic attack occured in the vicinity. Dante and Hilda immediately went to the scene, the hunter and brawler making short work of the trivial surge of the Infernal. However, the attack was merely a diversion made by a Vergil of another world - one where he killed his brother and took over Hell.

Vergil coerced Dante's wife into surrendering by holding a halfbreed child at bladepoint, after which he knocked the devil queen unconscious and whisked her away to his world. Upon finding out what happened, the hunter spent all of his time looking for a way to follow his alternate twin and rescue his wife. Eventually he found a way to open a portal directly to where Vergil disappeared, the method of which required the opening of a portal and a Yamato shard from his world.

After clearing the debris off the gateway in the catacombs, the hunter had his eldest son assist in reforming the portal to Hell and reconfiguring it with the Yamato shard to lead directly to his wife's kidnapper. Hilda was left with the task of watching the office while he was gone, and he stepped through the portal to rescue Atlas.

Upon reaching Hell's Precipice, the hunter was met with a vanguard of elite demons - all of which were slain with the wrath of an angry knight. Upon reaching the top of the fortress, he confronted the alternate Vergil and fought the halfbreed with every intent of killing him. In spite of Vergil's reasoning for kidnapping Atlas and trying to plea for Dante to rule his dying world alongside him, the hunter ultimately took his alternate brother down for good by destroying his head.

Had it not been for Atlas choosing to transform Vergil into a Devil Arm he would have left both his dead brother and Yamato to die with the rest of the world... but after some further time spent in the other world, both Dante and Atlas returned to their home with Yamato and Vergil as a part of his arsenal.

The Red Plague

A sudden biological outbreak and ensuing collateral damage near Dante's part of the city had the hunter and a woman from Cainhurst named Maria go on to investigate Ground Zero. At first appearing to simply be a mass viral contagion that killed the infected within minutes, it turned out that the virus also reanimated the corpse - and with the combination of stray demon magic on a self-propagating infection, it turned the infected into crazed monsters that took a lot to destroy.

After being forced to put down a boy that was sprayed with blood from their infected guardian, Dante and Maria set about quelling much of the infestation before the hunter himself went straight to the nearest hospital that was holding more of these infected individuals. After fighting and killing all of the infected to ensure they didn't escape the hospital, he found a bio-engineered creature towards the basement levels of the building, one that carried so much of the virus that it even slowed Dante's regeneration down.

Once the outbreak was contained Dante received word that there was someone posing as a doctor in the hospital that engineered the release of a strange mutagenic virus that was highly contagious to humans, and that he had been contacting a man named 'Wesker'...
