Rules

Rule 1  Absolutely no RP for Blank/Hub/Smut profiles. A minimum of character information, some depth and an attempt to attach them to a story of some kind is required. A picture with no character information is a blank profile, no matter how many pictures there are. Coding help is available if requested, just contact a mod.
Rule 2  All players must be 18 or older. No exceptions. Underaged players, after discussion, WILL be banned.
Rule 3  All RP must be consented to OOC by the player - especially if the character is not consenting. If the person tells you 'no' or otherwise ignores you - take the hint.
Rule 4   Underage characters may not participate in smut or nudity. You will not lewd AS or WITH any character under the age of 18. No exceptions.
Rule 5   No public smut. Light fondling and sexy shit-posting is alright, nudity is fine, but even brothels have closed doors, so keep the deed behind one of those.
Rule 6    No causing drama, make sure your drama stays yours. This includes any drama from other rooms. You are entitled to vent and complain about your life, but if you are starting to create issues because of it, you will be asked to stop, drop the conversation, and roll back in when you have a level head. If you can't do that, you will be forced to.
Rule 7   We will accept all people as they are and as they choose to be, but keep all political discussion outside of the room. This includes government politics, pushing religion, trans/anti-trans politics, vegan/anti-vegan politics - you can talk about religious history, for example, but if it sounds like you're pushing an agenda, you will be warned.

Staff

Tavern Owner

Drake Fae - Active owner, bartender, and brewmaster for The Prismatic Flagon. A known chaos gremlin, he's rather often seen at the bar handing out fresh rounds of his signature Prismatic Ale, for which the tavern was named.

Rissa

Tavern Staff

Drude - Resident hobo, but a friendly guy all around. He tries to be the life of the party, and he even sometimes succeeds! Most of the time though, he's just gross.

Jason Mesmith - A warm heart wrapped up in a muscular body, Jason is really just a big old teddy bear who needs more hugs than he gets. He's also helpful as a brewmaster in his own right - being the one who makes the more mundane ales of the tavern.

Erin Wakefield - Only slightly less chaotic than the present owner, Erin may be cute, but she takes no shit and gives plenty of it back. She's also a bit of a bully, especially to a certain teal frog...

Lore

The Prismatic Flagon

a surprisingly upscale tavern in the port town of Naiad's End. The town itself is about as one might expect - plenty of sailors, plenty of fishing, yet surprisingly, it isn't the town's main source of traffic and income. In truth, that is the taverns and local products - as Naiad's End is one of the few towns that can source its products from the Faewilds, only a short few miles from the town limits. Naturally, there's plenty of weirdness, plenty of fae, and plenty of superstition surrounding the town - yet despite, or even because of all of it, the town thrives as a neutral zone for fae and nonfae interaction while also serving as a landing point for those who seek to venture into the Faewilds for adventure or other similar reasons. However, because of certain fae influences, or perhaps other outside forces presently unknown, in more recent months, the veil between worlds and planes has thinned, and for reasons unknown, Naiad's End has become a hub for a new form of weirdness. Travelers from other worlds, willing or otherwise, have been arriving in droves, flocking to the town and its odd nature, and bringing with them some new products and technology. New magics, even unseen by anyone before. A world where everything collides, yet in the resulting chaos, a certain peace has been achieved...

Menu

Drinks

Prismatic Ale - the signature drink of the Prismatic Flagon, made from locally sourced ingredients from the nearby Faewilds. The taste is slightly different for everyone, but most often it's described as fizzy and fruity, with an undercut of nuts. Almost like soda, it goes down just as easily and thus can be difficult not to have too much too fast.

For fun - roll five D20, ten consult the Wildmagic table - all rolls of 5 or higher as normal, doubles give an additional option - doubles 1-5=1, 6-10=2, 11-15=3, 16-20=4 on the table.

Give it a try

Mead - Made with honey sourced from the local apiaries, the mead often comes in unusual colors as a result of the influence of local Fae creatures both adding their own honey to the mix or consuming it themselves. Flavors can vary widely as a result - but deep down, it's still just the same as your average tankard of mead!

Vodka - Due to recent anomalies and potential Fae mischief, brewing techniques from the worlds beyond have become more common as of late. As such, Vodka, a recent drink introduced by one such traveler, has become a mainstay at The Prismatic Flagon, sometimes even being mixed with its own Prismatic Ale for similar effects.

Rum - A more traditional acquisition, rum has been a favorite of the local seafarers - equal parts fishers and pirates - for years prior to the Flagon's opening. Drake couldn't tell you what's in it, but the locals seem to enjoy it, so he keeps it stocked well!

Whiskey - A lesser-known item on the menu, though no less desired, the occasional mercenary, artificer, or gunslinger    had been known to request it. Not much of it's kept in stock, but the bottles that ARE kept are of the highest of quality - and yet given freely like everything else on the menu. How odd.

Food

>Prismatic Stew - Another signature of the tavern, though less popular, Prismatic Stew is made from meats, mushrooms, and other plants sourced from the local Faewilds, with potatoes from the local farms diced into the mix as well. Much like the ale, the broth of this stew glows and shifts color before the eyes. A hearty, healthy stew with occasionally entertaining effects - more often than not, to no actual harm.

Nachos - Another gift from those beyond the woods and the veil of dimensions, the tortilla, has brought a lot of new dishes as well as drinks. With the new food, many new dishes came to be - the tortilla chip and, alongside it, nachos were a natural result. With melted cheese, freshly made, and locally-grown tomatoes, nothing inherently fae about this one for once!

Tacos - much like nachos, the taco was a natural result, served with ground beef, the same cheese, as well as a thin layer of lettuce and tomatoes.

Drake's Homemade Meatloaf - a surprisingly normal dish, albeit out-of-place in a tavern. Served with barbecue sauce and peppers worked into the loaf, it's often served to the tavern as a whole rather than a person, but judgment will be withheld should it be requested.
