What is Role Play Haven?

Role Play Haven is chatroom designed specifically for role-playing.
It is not restricted to any sort of RP. Adult, fantasy, medieval, sci-fi, anime, realistic, and so on are all welcome.
Just no "Twilight" RP, kthnx.

What can you RP?

Almost anything!
Canon characters, original characters, realistic characters, Anime, and so on are all welcome, but you must be over 18 to use RPH. You play the storylines that you want to!

The only thing that is NOT welcome is anything Illegal in the USA(Do NOT care if it's legal in your country, RPH's servers are in the USA, so USA laws apply), and joke names are not welcome, only serious RP.

Guidelines

  • Moderators are not your babysitters, mediators, or tech support. Ignore people if they are bothering you. Ask in the OOC chat for help with technical problems before bothering the mods.
  • Don't interrupt others RP in user rooms with OOC chit-chat
  • Please bookmark us
  • Put a picture in your profile. Don't complain about not getting rp because you have no picture and you copy/pasted wikipedia.

Rules

  • Do NOT hoard names. You should not have 20 names if you're on once a week. Make a multi-character name if you need dozens of characters.
  • Do NOT spam any room.
  • Do NOT make joke accounts. Character names/profiles only.
  • Rooms must be a setting Making rooms that are just a message, especially if to insult people, can get you banned.
  • No OOC profiles, RP characters only.
  • No netspeak "u" "r", etc, is not welcome.
  • No pre-typed post-spamming That copy-pasting of some post to everyone is not welcome.
  • Keep private problems/drama private. Bashing people in public will get you banned.

Why donate?

Role Play Haven is completely custom, designed for RP. It is not some random script taken and adapted. It runs on a custom set-up server and a chat I coded myself specifically geared towards free-form RP. Not to mention, its own profile and account system. The goal is to make the best possible place to RP. This takes time and money.

Invite your friends

A status message on yahoo/aim/msn where you have friends that RP works well. Or you're a part of an RP group on a website.

But try to avoid things that seem spammy, and instead have it be more of an invitation than spam.
